This is my first post in this forum,I thought maybe you guys can help me out.If this is not an appropriate, then Moderator, please delete.
I've got 3 hatchets that I have come about.Just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about these.

The first belong to my Great Grandfather.I know it is very old,but it is a surprise to me to see it is has Made in Sweden,on one side. The other side has,
''Super Brano'' written on the other side
The second one,although a hatchet,resembles a broad ax.I know it is old,but i don't know how old.It has a stamp on one side ''Belknap Blue Grass,Louisville U.S.A
The last,I don't know anything about it,all it has is India. It is made of 2 pieces.
The very last pic may be a little blurry, but i am hoping it shows the 2 pieces, although this style may all be made of 2 pieces.

Thanks for any help,Keith

I've tried editing this post, but for some reason it will not change.I tried to change the title, and some of the wording. It does not seem to work.I just thought maybe the way i had it worded, was messing me up with getting any replies.I was referring to these as axes, when they are in fact hatchets.Maybe it will change when i post a reply. If not i will leave this one alone.

Thanks guys,God bless,Keith

Didi you miss type on the firstDoes It Say super Banko, either way probaballly a good old hatchet I would keep it, use it, its a tool

The Belknap looks like a hewning hatchet, is it sharpened on one side and flaton the other this is used to hew out boards, handles whatever, it is just smaller than a broad axe for more detail on your work or use on smaller thing, more than railroad ties were chopped out. Belknap have some collector following them, and it may have some value $50 or 100 +/- depending on the day.

the last marked INDIA looks like some kind of import tomahawk. or light hatchet, find a handle and hurl it at a target, have some fun with it, I don't think you would be hurting much, but others may know more than I.

Thanks for the reply Pat,yes it does say Super Banko.

On the Balknap,if I was interested in selling it,would you clean it up or leave it alone?

Thanks again,Keith
