I know that handle on the Stilletto is to short for that type of axe. And more than likely you live in the pacific north west.

Correct Garry........They usually had longer handles to work the face cuts of the large trees before the cross cut misery whips went in. Nice old head, The other one came to Northern California with my grandpa from Nebraska.
