Nice old custom made fixed blade marked B. Pugsley 11-7-75, Gemini Eugene Oregon. Handle some type of bone/antler w/ turquoise inlay. The blade is starting to show some spotting/discoloration that wasn't captured in the pics. I don't know a whole lot about it. Make me an offer, not sure what it is worth.

Can anyone see the pics? This is my first listing, I don't see any. Not sure what I did wrong.....thought I uploaded 5 pics.????

13ninjas, welcome to Bladeforums!

I moved this from For Sale: Custom Knives (Individual) to Service & Support so we can clear up a couple of problems. You can repost the knife afterwards. :)

First of all, you need to determine an asking price. We don't allow bidding on our Exchange forums.

Next, posting pictures. Easiest way is through a photo hosting site like www.photobucket.com which will provide you with a URL for each picture to paste directly into your sales post here.

Sorry about that. Is it okay for me to have an asking price or best offer? I'll have to sign up with photobucket tomorrow.

Yes, you can. People even abbreviate that as OBO. But you don't need to do it.

You can lower your price if you get no takers, rather than OBO, which invites people to assume your asking price isn't serious and they should wait till you cave.

Unless you really, really need the money right now, patience may pay off, waiting till the right buyer gets a chance to notice your sale.

Can I post it in a discussion forum fist to see if someone can give me an idea of what it is worth? Then post it in the exchange?

Esav, I'm going to disagree that photobucket is the easiest. I think that imageshack.us is the easiest. Photobucket is the most common, but I see too many threads that are less than a month old sometimes, and photobucket has moved, deleted, or something else happened (but still photobucket) and the picture does not show up. About 80% of the times that I see a picture not working it is from photobucket. Other issues are with someones website that they hosted to, improper links, etc.

13ninjas, I believe you could post in a different forums to help determine a value, but if you have multiple things to try to sell, that could get a little annoying after a while. And you couldn't get exact values of what you could sell it for, just maybe what it is worth. Maybe someone who has done this can help chime in.

Am I only supposed to have one thread open at a time, no matter how many knives I have listed? I mean, am I not supposed to list a Buck knife in the buck section, the custom knife under the custom section, etc.?? I am new at this so I'm just learning. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It is suggested that you consolidate your sales into one thread.

Multiple production knives to sell at one time? One single thread listing all items. Same goes for customs and anything you may sell in Gadgets & Gear.

You do not need to add all knife sales together if there is a fair amount of time between your listings (say about 2-4 weeks). You can simply start another listing thread.

You also cannot bump your threads to the top of the listing page for 72 hours after you list it unless you are lowering the price and adding pics or adding items.

Thanks for your help. I like imageshack much better than photobucket after messing around with them. Sorry, I added the pic of my dog for practice. It is my avatar on Scrap Yard's forum.
