Vintage Benchmade ATS-34 Bali-Song Question

Hi,

I purchased a Benchmade knife back in the mid 90's and have barely used it. It's black all over with half serrated, half straight edge. It has a butterfly on it with the words "bali-song" and the words ATS-34 on the other side. Can anyone tell me about this or how much it's worth? (Sorry, I'm not a savvy knife person). I'll e-mail a picture if you need to look at it to give me a better answer.

Im pretty sure he said balisong and buttlerfly knife.

Yes, it looks just like that except the blade is black and on the other side of the blade, it has a butterfly symbol with the words "bali-song' in the middle of the symbol.

That's a Benchmade AFCK you have there. Most likely an 800hs.

If you're familiar with the knife, you'll know that the benchmade butterfly symbol is on both sides. For some reason, on one side of it, the emblem came off (a long time ago). You think I could send it to Benchmade and have them put another one on? (I've lost the one that fell off, the other one, however; is still intact)

I have that knife without the serrations and have used it a lot. Very good steel in the blade and has held up well. No idea what it's worth.

I asked benchmade a while back and they told me they were out of those discs.

missing medalion is no problem.

Nothing stupid about the rule at all. If the was not here this discussion forum would be mostly about where to get what at how much. This forum is for the discussion about knives not buying and selling them.

Just look at what has happened to this thread and to a reasonable person the reason for the rule is quite clear. People help support this site by purchasing the right to buy and sell and you think it is OK to let people sell on the back of the people who support this site. That seems a little unfair to me.
