My grandfather passed this knife down to me through my father before his passing. My dad said this knife was issued to my grandpa when he was drafted into the Navy in WW2. He may have actually said "He got it when he went into the Navy". If so, that may mean it wasn't a Navy issued knife but, he bought it somewhere along the way. Anyway, I hope you guys can help my identify the knife through the pictures. I'd love to know the date of manufacture and the model of Boker.

I'm no Boker expert but believe that the Boker USA stamped knives were made from 1914-early 1980s. That's a camp knife pattern, also commonly referred to as a scout knife. Not sure if the Boker was ever military issued. I don't think I've ever heard of it being so, but then no one in my family served in the Navy. My dad entered the service (Army) in the early 1960s and was issued a Camillus USA made camp knife, which he still owns. Your Boker looks to be in great condition for its age.
