Vintage boning/filleting knife identification

I saw this boning or filleting knife in a recent bundle sale. The pic isn't too great, but it looks like a Remington 'R' on the face of the blade, with what looks like either a '54' or '84' stamp or mark.
Judging by the length of known knives in the bundle, I would say this is an 8" or 9" blade.
Any help with ID of the knife (maker, year etc) would be greatly appreciated.

OK, some newer, better pics of the boning knife.
It's not a Remington 'R', but an 'IR' and the figure '84'.
The snap on the sheath says 'Belconia'.
