Hi, folks! This is a Bowie knife recently completed, made from a very old file. The proposal was to build a knife with a more ancient look. All carbon steel, with handle of deer horn (crown). The sheath is in natural leather sewn by hand, made in two pieces.

OAL: 320 mm
BL: 197 mm
BW: 34 mm
BT: 4 mm

I hope you enjoy!

Best regards

Thanks, guys!
The heat treatment was done by water quenching and subsequent tempering. The pattern formed was totally random.

Amazing knife. I'm not sure which I like more, the knife or the sheath. Great work all around.

That knife is so incredible. The filework on the back edge is nice. Blade shape and sheath are wonderful as well. I would love to have that knife.

Hi Joale -

Very beautiful! You have achieved the look of an antique Bowie very well!

I have a good friend that lives in Campinas, do you ever get up that way?

best regards -
