Hi.
I found this vintage Buck 110 on eBay. The seller says its from 1972 because of the inverted stamp.
Do you have any idea how rare this Buck is? And is this Buck really from 1972?
Any info will be appreciated. I leave you some pics of the knife:

There is a good sticky on here that lists all the versions and variations. I recommend you study it so you can identify the early models. One of the experts will be able to tell you what you have but judging from the pics it was made from 70-72. They aren't rare but not common either. I'm learning myself about all the old Bucks and there are awesome members on here that will be more then helpful. That knife looks great and was probably sent to Buck Knives Inc for the 'spa treatment'. You should bid on it if you're interested in collecting old Bucks. We cannot discuss price in this section though. Good luck :)

Doug, thank you very much for your input on this.
I already bid on it and it would be great if some other members can give me more info about this 110. I was a little afraid about that inverted stamp, like... Is this original? Buck made these knives with inverted stamps?
=)
Let´s wait for more answers.

It is an original stamp. I'm not a 110 collector but I've been around long enough to know a Buck stamp. They used that stamp from 1967 to 1972 when they added the model # 110 to the Stamp. There are several factors that define which version or variation the knife is but the knife is a "True Buck 110". Like Doug said it looks as though it has been cleaned up, which doesn't change the value of the knife at all, just make it look nicer. As far as rarity, you have to remember that the Buck 110 is the biggest selling knife in the world, and millions have been sold. There aren't too many that are "Rare" pre-say, Some cost allot more than others, but if you look you will find the one you are looking for, it may just take a bit of time. Enjoy your knife...
