Nice!! And it has the gold emblem! Very nice.
I keep a C50 in my PJ's. Slim and sharp, rides well, doesn't poke me when I am sleeping.

Nice pics as always Piter.

After I read the news of Mr. Centofante's passing the C50 was the knife I grabbed before heading out for the afternoon. Tomorrow I'll take the C25. Figure the best way I could pay any kind of tribute to him is to continue to carry and enjoy using the models he designed.

Great pics, Piter. Very sad to hear about Mr. Centofante's passing. Here's a scan of one of my favorite Spyderco ads...

Very neat. I've never seen that particular ad before. I love that it has some classic F1 cars in the background.

Would you mind if I save a copy of that for my own?

I wouldn't mind at all; I just scanned it from Blade magazine, so I don't own the rights or anything, but I don't think anyone would mind. It is a neat ad!

Not trying to hijack, but the ad made me think of this. Does anyone have a scan of that great old Massad Ayoob ad with the guy flying on the back of the knife?

I never liked the Ayoob, but that picture always gave me a chuckle.

Whoa!! A two screw Centofante! Yikes. That's a sweet score. Schweeeeet. :)

Oh, and by the way note to the last poster.... The ad with the guy riding the knife is the ad for the Jot Singh Khalsa collaboration, Mass Ayoob is a totally different guy, different knife. The dude riding the knife is Jot himself. Best ad ever, in ANY industry.

AH HA... that's why I couldn't find it. I don't know why I thought it was the Ayoob... probably because it's been years since I've seen it.

Thanks.

And to get back on track. I love the C50 and I've been trying to get my hands on one for a long time. I think it's one of the nicest looking Spydercos ever made.
