cant get picks to upload. but a brief description should do.

ive got a stag handled knive stamped concord Solingen Germany on 1 side and 907 on the other. wandering if any of you know what yrs these knives were produced. I cant find any info on it. ive only seen 1 bowie knife stamped concord. no info was available. the stamp isn't very deep, but it is clear. a friend told me it was probably a pretty hard steel based on the depth of the embossing.
thanks for any help

although, id like to post pics of this knife, its not worth the trouble, especially for a new member. it is not for sale.
any body have a concord knife ?

Hello Gents and ladies,
I have a Solingen antler-handled Bowie knife I received from my father. It is stamped with Concord on one side with the number 186. It isn't a fancy knife but the quillon is cracked and therefor annoyingly loose. I would like to get it repaired but I don't think the knife is worth all that much. Let me know if you think it is worth repairing and how you think I should go about getting it repaired. It is a shame it is so onerous to post pictures on this website.

So sorry my request confused anyone. I don't need to know what the knife is worth. I just want to know if anyone thinks it is worth it to get it fixed? and where can someone go for this kind of repair?

The steel is probably a decent old school carbon steel, and even though the knife was likely an inexpensive import it should take a decent edge and make a great use if fixed up.
I wouldn't have it polished up or anything, just get it's handle replaced and the blade sharpened.
I'll bet one of the service providers here on the forum could do the work for a reasonable price.
