Vintage CR knife

I have a vintage CR knife, I am hoping someone can help me to identify the model and value. It has a 9" blade, octagnal removeable cap on top, the sheath has the traditional CR in the middle. There is a CR on the blade with a number 39, and on the other side of the blade is inscribed Made in South Africa. I am not able to insert a licture right now, but if someone has an idea, I can send a picture to an e-mail my e-mail is

I had the OP email me pics. The knife in question is a South African Sable I. Hex cap and leather sheath. Very Nice.......You dont see these around too often.
