Hey Guys! Look what I finally found. It was delivered this morning, I bought it off eBay! It is like brand new, even has the original paint on the platen under the belt. Every time I found an older one it was so abused it wasn't worth buying. I guess Patients pays off.
Patients That is the one lesson I have so much trouble with!!!! Don't you guys agree!:D

That looks like a dandy Roy. I've been Ebaying too lately. So far I've been lucky not to get burnt. Just a matter of time I guess.

Roger

Rlinger, your right! This person had 100% positive feedback with over 100 purchases, so I figured it would be safe, but again your right, it is just a matter of time, and that's too bad.:(

O.K., now I'm upset. No zucchini bread for you:p Nice machine, Rene. It looks like a beauty.

ps- since zucchini isn't in season now, you'd better put your order in before Stamford.

Knifemaker J.P.Moss converts a lot of these into great flat grinding machines for knives. He says the "old ones" are way better than the new.

Rene: We have to take a count. The dude with the most toys when they die wins. I am counting motorcycles too.:D :D :D :D

Absolutely Chuck!

J., this is to place my order for at least one loaf of Zucchini Bread, if I don't get it in Stamford, then I better get it in Ohio!!!:D

Indian George, now that isn't fair! I don't have Motorcycles! :D:D:D

Looks great Rene. Can you tilt it horizontally?
Now I know where to go when I need to flatten a lot of handle material.

Rene, I've had one of these in the past when I was trying to make do using it to grind blades. Didn't care for it all that much but if its just being used for wood its a great tool. One thing to keep in mind is the motors are not sealed, once the steel dust get inside it shorts them out pretty quick. Might be a good idea to make some kind of sheild to stop that from happening.

I remember see pictures of Lloyd Hale grinding big beautiful bowies on a machine like this. I think you're in good company! You scored! Congratulations.

Dave,
I have that book that you are talking about, with Lloyd Hale grinding that huge bowie. Geeze he made it look so easy in the book, huh!:D

Yeah he did! But I bet someone watching you work, who didn't know any better, would think you made it look easy too. :D
