High folks. I’m new here. Thanks for letting me join. I just finished freshening up my dad’s old Ka-Bar 5” knife. Does anyone know the model and year. Thanks!

Welcome to the site!! I'd be glad to help you, but a photograph of your knife will be necessary for ID. KA-BAR made a lot of patterns over the years, impossible to ID without photo.

As a registered member, you'll have to use a photo host. I use imgur

HH, as a gold member you can upload photos straight from your computer, no need to use imgur. Carrera (do you have one?) paying members can upload straight from their computers but HH is correct, unless you are a paying member you will have to use imgur or something like it. Hope you get it done, love to see old KA-BARs. I take it your knife is marked KA-BAR rather than Kabar?
