What kind of fishing emergency would you need that for? A crackhead pops out of the woods and tries to mug you for your fish? :p
 
Well, with mountain goats killing hikers, maybe a school of croppie will swarm like pirahna and try to eat the fisherman.

Yea, what a curious selling point.

I'd be willing to bet that knife opens way slower than even the slowest autos on the market now, and would fold quicker than me in a poker game if given a spine whack, but for its time, it was a classic.:D
