I have a vintage Marbles hunting knife which has been in my family for over 40 years. I recently sold it. The buyer claimed it was a recently made reproduction which is impossible knowing the history of the knife. He noticed some discoloration and a couple of very minor pitting at the hilt and claimed it was a Chinese forgery. I did refund him his purchase price. I am new to BladeForums and would appreciate any help in how to deal with an issue like this.
