Hello all,
Anyone have an interesting or unusual Mercator? The Mercator is, IMHO, the AK47 of trad folders. Here are three of mine - a scarce 1950s clip point, a large slip joint version, probably made by a competitor of Kauffman and marked only “Germany”, indicating a 1891-1914 import range, and a combo tool (always a favorite). Anyone have an interesting or unusual Mercator in the knife drawer?
