Hi all,

I'm JAZZED! On it's way to me is this (modified) vintage Carbon Ontario Old Hickory Butcher (now KEPHART) style knife. About a year ago, I found HALF an "Old Hickory" Butcher knife in a tool box being tossed out in the trash. Some idiot must of used this once 12" blade as a pry bar as it was snapped in half! There was perhaps 5.5 inch of blade remaining. I knew I had a Diamond in the rough. I sent the knife to Jeremy in TN and this is the results :

I can't wait to get my hands on this old/new beauty!

Thanks bdev. I think it's quite a handsome Knife and I just love the fact that this knife is old yet new!

That's excellent. I can well understand your excitement.
Congrats!

Hi all,

Thanks guys, I appreciate your comments. Jeremy, I'm proud to have my knife posted on your "wall of fame". To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. As mentioned, finding this knife in the trash (call me "Mr. Junker") makes the end results all the sweeter. Next up for mod will be a very nice vintage 6" Carbon Butcher knife "UNIVERSAL HAMMER FORGED" (purchased).

Regards,
HARDBALL

very nice

on my to do list at the moment - thinking of a 4" handle 5.5-6" blade combo at the moment

Wow that turned out so good! I love those Old Hickory kitchen knives for the same reasons I love carbon steel slip joints. Take such a nice edge quickly.

That thing looks sweet!

Hi guys,

Thank you all for the compliments. As you can see, Jeremy is quite the artist. I can't wait until I hold this baby in my hands. It will ship out soon.

Regards,
HARDBALL
