This is a pair of Pacific cutlery International Series butterfly knives from the 80's. The 159 is in better condition than the other one.
PC159: This knife comes with a weehawk blade and has the same handles as does a thousand other balisong knives produced in the 80's and 90's. It is the one with the black inserts on the handles and is very similar to the one I gave away on the balisong forum earlier in the year with a tanto blade on it. This one is stamped with the 1985 Internations Series Japan stamp on it. It is in great shape as you can see in the pic with the original edge on it. The handles and blade are clean on it. The tang does not show flipping swirls on it. -- Removed --
PC138: This knife would have been a terrific tanto except someone tried to sharpen it themselves on what appears to be a either a wheel or sander. If you look at the picture of the two tangs and look at the one on the bottom, you can see what I am talking about. While this one does not retain the factor edge, it can be fixed by a professional sharpener. Someone might want to purchase this one to be a great EDC with a Tanto blade. When you look at the two knives opened together, you get a good idea of what I am referring to. -- now $50 by itself --
