Am I out of the ballpark with my price, any feedback would be appreciated
Yes I do believe you are out of reasonable price range. In addition, with the limited information provided on its condition few buyers will assume it is in top shape. The thread you reference gave two opinions of value far less than what you're asking. You can't put it on eBay, they don't allow butterflies (some get through, but most get yanked and the seller sometimes gets a warning on their account).

drop it $20 a day until it sells, you might be surprised what you get. George is right on your lack of description hurting you, but I wouldnt be surprised if it fetched around $450+... Especially with that super rare sheath/ Good luck with your sale :) Too bad your in it for the money, this would be a great keeper, and a wonderful start for a noobs bali-collection.

BTW, you might want to post this in the custom section for proper exposure... Just a thought.

Would more pictures help I am not a knife collector this is for sale for friend i just get a percentage of what it sells for. These hairline scratches on the blade make me think it has been sharpend. I will now do a PRICE DROP TO $450

IMHO, the blade looks sharpened and carelessly cleaned/polished???

A collector is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I don't think you necessarily need more pictures, but giving more details like you do here (it appears to have been sharpened) is what I mean. I know it's tough to know what to look for if you aren't familiar with these knives.

Still avalible. You can buy the knife anf when you recieve it if it is not what you expected you are more then welcome to return it.
