I have recently acquired a Schrade Scrimshaw lockback with bright yellow delrin scales. Blade is etched Schrade Scrimshaw. Tang stamped Uncle Henry SCHRADE on one side and LB7YI on other. No serial numbers on bolsters. Appears older. Came in a vintage looking Schrade leather pouch. China?? Or is it possible Schrade didn't tang stamp all USA made knives? And are Schrade Scimshaws produced in China as well? Thanks for any info.

Made in China.
If it's made in the USA it will say schrade NY USA.
Btw normally if a knife is stainless steel it will say schrade+
However some of the last late production knives were made of stainless without warning, now I only know of examples of this on OLD TIMERS.

Thanks. China. : ( It came with a batch of older knives and had me going there for a bit. I should have known better.
