Hello all,

I'm looking for some information about this push button display I inherited. Below is a picture I found of the display on schradecollectors.com, but the website looks to be not in use. Does anyone have any information about this or can point me in the right direction of who to talk with? Any help would be stellar and I can assure anyone who helps out will get some sort of kick back.
Thank Again

Contact Richard Langston over at the AAPK site. He would be the expert on Schrade automaics in general and this display in particular. I haven't been to that site in a while but I think he goes by LT632RET there. He has a member store there so should be easy to find with the info I have given. Good luck!

Thank you. I appreciate it. If this ends in the sale of the device, I will contact you with a reward.

This is the 3rd one of these I have heard about.
LT has one as does the Collectors page. This one looks to be in perfect condition.
I have not heard if the collectors group was still running.

Larry, this picture is the one from that site with the text below it:

One of the rarest know Schrade collectibles. 7 mint switchblades, when plugged in the thumb trips one blade, a mechanical lever trips the back blade, then arms close both blades and it repeats. Pristine mint and came from the Schrade factory after the close. Shown here as exhibited at the 2006 Knives Illustrated Spirit of Steel Show. Owned by Jerry Skelton.

So perhaps the OP has inherited Mr. Skelton's demonstrator display?

J.Bruce Voyles ,author/writer and knife authority would have the most reliable/knowledgeable information on that unique Schrade Display. He has given information/photos on that exact display in the past, and I understand is writing a Schrade book.... Just google Bruce Voyles Tennessee....good luck...Hoo Roo

I left a message in your profile, Fredju!

Probably the most desirable Schrade piece/display ever made, and no doubt worth a Kings' ransom........I hope Fredju keeps us all posted on developments...Hoo Roo

It could be a bidding war Royale. Who has the deepest pockets? Stewart Taylor? Kevin Pipes? Bruce Voyles? Some obscure Aussie?:D

Thanks all! Codger- it isn't Jerry Skelton's but yes the picture I posted is definitely his. I spoke with Mr. Langston and he showed some interest but as everyone has pointed it, the price tag on this display is going to be up there. I also emailed Bruce Voyles and have sent some pictures his way but with the holidays around the corner, I'm sure he hasn't had any time to contact me back. Which I can certainly understand. Besides for tax purposes, next year would be better for me!! HAHA or should I say HOHO! Waynorth, I will contact you in the message system.

I will keep this post updated and let you all know how it goes. Again, thank you for all the help.

Another couple of possibilities are Stewart Taylor (Taylor Brands) and Kevin Pipes (Smoky Mountain Knife Works). I don't have a clue if Mr. A. G. Russell would be interested, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

An update for everyone. We found a buyer and have sold the item. I'm sorry it wasn't from anyone on here as I would have liked to give out a chunk of the sale. Maybe Next Time. Thank you all for the help!
