the knife has a saw for cleaning fish and a blade the blade is 3 inch of cutting surface the steel is s-751 stainless
the handle length is 4 and a quarter and the overall is 7 and a half
it is a Texas toothpick style with yellow handle and nickel bolster on the handle it has a sharpening stone for hooks
it also has brass liners
overall it seem very good and fit and finish is very good i would pick it over a identical case blade

so does anyone know what the name of it is or how much it is worth thanks you for your time.

That would be a Western fishing knife or "fishin' knife". Fishing knife is really what it's called. That's not a saw on it, it's a fish scaler, most likely with a notch on the end for removing hooks. The ones with the inset hook sharpener were saught after more than the standard ones.
A friendly warning- registered users cannot ask about values.
Welcome to the forum!

It's just called a fishing knife, it's not a saw it 's a fish scaler with a hook disgorger on the end, I have an old imperial that I've had for about 32years, and a old hammer brand that I picked up for seven bucks at a flea market.

Yup, all correct. I collect Fish knives. Have a bunch, but not a western. Great knives. Take an old Imperial USA every time I fish.

Well, since everyone is asking questions - Does it have a fish hook straightener in the end cap? If there's an itty bitty hole in the end cap, that's it.
