Hey guys,

Do any of you own this knife? I saw a couple pictures posted by Mika in the EDC thread a while back and just HAD to get one; looks like my grail knife. I ordered one today, but it seems like no one owns them! I can't find a single review anywhere. So do any of you have experience with this knife? I'd love some pics. :D

no exp. with them but the knife does have quite an appeal to it, please make sure to get a review out so the word spreads

These are new to me also but look very interesting... I look forward to seeing a review of one

I have the cocobolo wood handle version and it is good.

The main thing to point out is the top end of the handle is sharp — so when one is holding it, make sure that your palm doesn't hang over the end.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of it to post, but it is a large folder. It compares to a Benchmade 741 Onslaught in size.

Also this is the smoothest lockback I have ever used. It feels like an Axis-Lock in opening & closing action.

Mine doesn't have a pocket clip either.

I saw that cocobolo one too, but the CF is really what did it for me. Oh man, the way you described it makes me giddy. :D I do have large hands, so we'll see what happens, maybe the cf will be softer? Who knows.

Did it come very sharp?

Yes, the sharpness was great out of the box and responds very well to stropping on suede leather.

N690 is the European version of VG-10.

I am considering getting one of the D2 blade with black micarta handles later on.

Awesome. :D

I have a combative edge m1 with n690 and it seems very nice, though I haven't used it so I can't really say.

I just got the shipping notice today; I can't wait!

I got my start today. Everything I expected! The scales are a little off, but it looks like it was meant to be that way. I'll have some pics up later.

Alright here we go. You can see it is very large, even larger than the Military.

Ever since I saw this knife in the EDC forum, I've lusted for one. I think it's a gorgeous knife. Let us know how it's treating you.

You got it bro, so far I really like it. Great F&F, very sharp, decent ergos, nice materials. I noticed though the scales are a little scuffed.

I just got one too. I think it's terrific, especially for the price. If someone scrubbed the marks and handed it to you, you'd probably think it cost twice as much. Nice scales, great blade shape and pretty sharp, tip-up clip, ambi studs, big and solid, and the sturdy lockback is a nice touch. Blade locks with authority, and the thing feels great in your hand.

Well, they should become a lot more popular now that Nutnfancy has a video review of them.
