Hi Guys,
Since I have become a forum member here, i think my obsession with knives has become an illness. Knives are all I think about. I try to sleep and i cant get ideas out of my head.I find myself looking at peoples furniture and think " wow , that would make a nice handle etc."
What I would like to know is if there is someone in the Hampton , Norfolk, Richmond area or anywhere close that would be willing to take me under their wing and show me some basics of the hand forged blade. I can provide my own supplies. i just learn better from observing than reading. Any help appreciated.

Gouge, I live In northern VA. It is about 3 hours from Richmond. I do not heat and beat I cut and grind and do mostly folding knives. If you like to come and visted the shop just give me some warning before coming up.
