Virginia custom knife makers

i'm pretty new to this site, and i know this may not be the best place to post this, but are there any custom knife makers in Virginia (preferably the greater richmond area).

Welcome to this site, and I'm glad you are interested.

There are no finer people in the world.

Here's an online link (from 2007) of Custom Maker's names and towns: state by state. If you google them they may have more contact info. (PJ Tomes has retired, that much I am aware of.)

Edmund Davidson and Burt Foster are two of the most well known Virginia knifemakers.

I'm curious as to your inquiry, are you a collector, knifemaker or an enthusiast?

Charles Vestal is one of the best stock removal makers you will find anywhere, and you will find him right here in Virginia (I am in Fairfax County). However, he is not in the Richmond area (and, I believe, neither are Burt Foster and Edmund Davidson).
