Virginia Tech knife policies

can anyone tell me the policies for knives on the Virginia Tech campus?



Also, as a side note anyone know the tech CCW policy (i am assuming no)
 
Why...don't you email campus police/security and ask? Best way to get a definitive answer IMO.
 
Unless some random guy on bladeforums happens to see your thread that also happens to go to VT, I doubt we'd know. EDIT: Also, knife laws forum isn't really super duper popular.
 
i figured that, but i figured i would check anyways, if i find it out, i will post it on here so that it will be here
 
I did do a quick search on VT's site. Couldn't find much, but I only checked for 5 minutes. The handbook doesn't have much.
 
ya, i have been searching for a little while
unfortunately, i cant find an email for the VT police department
i may just drop by the PD building tomorrow after orientation
 
If it's like TN, knives on school property are covered under state law.
But I don't know Virginia's.

Hi, not sure that im up to date but i think that long guns are supposed to be stored centrally and just checkrd mout when needed. carry is not allowed at ant state school (even with permit). dont know about knife polocy cause ive been gone many years-much changed after Cho.
