VIRUS alert

Folks, my computer got infected with a vorus last night and started firing out emails. I apologize if you received a bad email. My computer is clean now. Kindest Regards, chieftd
 
I was wondering where that came from... I am glad I deleted it without opening it- I actually got two- one image and an exe. file
not sure what it was but the thing that got my attention is it had something like user first name then user last name and I figured it could not be good.
 
Hey, I just got those two emails with "username" or something like that. I just deleted them.

That's a heck of a virus! I just deleted the 2 e-mails as soon as I received them. Thanks for letting us know. I wondered where that came from!

No kiddin about a heck of a VIRUS. I was stupid enough to try to open the attachment, and have spent the last two days chasing the desktop icons around the screen, and when it wasnt doing that, the icons were flashing on and off in rapid succesion. Thank goodness for McAfee updates on the web because this is a virus that came from somewhere in Aisa only in the last few days. It took two go arounds to get rid of it entirely. Nasty nasty virus.
Thanks for alerting us to the problem and nor hard feelings, actually had some fun chasing the icons while the virus program did its magic
