Virus Trojan?

Hello everybody,
My wifey's computer picked up a Trojan I believe.
She is running XP. This thing will not let her get into Outlook or anything else.
I've tried to run CCleaner to no avail. I can not even get into system recovery.
The crap that pops up is called Antivirus System Pro.
Do you guys know anything about this. Can you help me get rid of it?
Should I just reinstall XP?

Antivirus System Pro is classified as rogue spyware. The following link takes you to a page to manually remove it from your system.

If this doesn't work then run Malware Bytes to remove it.

I had to do this on my mother's PC last week. Was fairly easy if you're computer savy.

But I just want to add that I used to run Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2 as well as MalwareBytes. Both are free and between the two of them, they can remove pretty much anything.

It's also going to be sitting in a folder in Program Files. You have to look for that folder. It may be labeled AS, ASP, ASPro or something similar.

After a two plus hour deep scan, Malewarebtyes.com did the trick.
