BWAH HA HA HAAA!

Hi George,

That G-10 Vision is called the Night Vision and will begin shipping in July. See it below along with the titanium handled Vision. Also notice our new lock...the ArcLock! We are very excited about these new models!

I have my order in for both of these. I truly can't wait.

Ron@SOG:

Any chance of plain edge versions? The same goes for the new Recondo model. I would really like to own a both a Vision and a Recondo, but I'd want them more, and buy them sooner if they were offered in plain-edge.

To be fair though, I just bought a Mini-Tsunami and like it a lot, but I really wish that there was a choice on the serrations. I am impressed with everything about the knife, but I can't shake the feeling that I have "settled" for something a little less than what I really wanted, simply because the manufacturer is not mindful of different consumer preferences.

1" of serrations on a fixed blade is pretty d*mn useless anyway if you ask me, and they really ruin the lines of the knife. 3.5" folders are another matter. If you are going to go 50/50 on a folder you might as well just serrate the whole blade. (Or preferably just leave it plain!)

I hope that SOG will take these concerns under advisement. The Mini Tsunami is my first SOG knife, and I really am impressed with the package. I actually would like to get a full-sized Tsunami, but it would be a LOT nicer in a plain-edged, mirror polished version. I know for a fact that many other forumites would agree that serrations generally give the "worst of both worlds" in use.

SWEET!!!!!

YEAH!!!!!

I'm buying 2...
I like the liner lock so the Arc thing aint all that much to me... but other than that - the knife is flawless.

Thanks!

That rocks! Anyone know who has them in stock?

Is it tip up or tip down carry? Also did they retain the old style clip or is it a new design?

How about a night vision with SOG's black TiNi coating? Wouldn't that be the $hit?
