Vision vs Night Vision....

I was debating buying a SOG Vision, but recently saw an advertisement for the Night Vision, with a G10 handle instead of the titanium. I've never actually had/handled a G10 handle, how do they hold up, grip, weight, etc compared to the titanium. They're the same price, so that's not a factor. Thanks much.

G-10 is my favorite handle material it's tough gripy never to cold holds up to extreme cold and extreme heat.
 
The Night Vision has been discontinued for a couple or more years now. I have carried the NV for about 3 years, tough as anything you could carry.

Not sure how many places still have NVs left in stock, I have not checked in a while.

Thanks for the words. I saw the NV on a web site, but couldn't find it on the SOG site, so I thought I'd ask. So many decisions.....
 
My advice would be to buy the Night Vision. Why? Because it is discontinued. Supplies are drying up and while a few places still have them, sooner rather than later they'll sell out.

The G-10 handle is grippier than satin finish titanium as cereedy said, and the G-10 hides scratches from day to day carry/ use better. If you get a Night Vision now, you won't have too much trouble unloading it in a year or two if you decide to "trade up" to the titanium Vision.

I also have a Vision, great knife, I just don't carry it for fear of scratching it. :o

I would not hesitate going with the NV. It is exactly like the Vision, smooth as silk and a great knife for the money.

Before you place an order, I would email them or call and make sure they still have some in stock, it has been a while and some places might be sold out.

I've got a Night Vision and I absolutely love it! It is THE smoothest operating folder that I have. Smoother than my Benchmade Pinnacle and my two Emersons! If I were you, I would snatch one up while you can. I am still kicking myself for passing up some of SOG,s older knives which they no longer make.
 
If anyone knows where to find a new Night Vision, please let me know.
I checked the links above and they have been out for a couple of months.
I would prefer the G-10 handles. Looks like a great knife.
