Visionary 2 broken thumb stud

I took off the thumb stud before I sharpened my knife and put it back on when I was done. When I put it back on, the threads broke in half at the beginning of the female piece. I know sog sends out replacement pocket clips at no charge, I am wondering if they will send me a new thumb stud. Does anyone know? Thanks

Only way to find out is to contact them. I don't see why they wouldn't though.

I sent them my address and they are going to send me out a new thumb stud free of charge.

Seriously eh?? Yikes. Well good to know they are sending you a new one. Also I was carrying my Visionary II for the last few weeks. I really like both the Visionary I and II. I got my father a Visionary I for Christmas. He's never had any knives other then Swiss Army and he was very excited about it and impressed with it.

Glad to hear they looked after you. I have the Visionary 2 and like it. Slow at first, but worked in nicely.
