  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I can't thank Sarah, Jim, and Anna for their hospitality and generosity when I showed up at their door yesterday. The cold water bottles were above and beyond. My Mom and Dad can't thank you enough, nor can I. Y'all are absolutely the best.

I'm jealous......it's on my short list to hop a plane to Oregon.

Oregon is a great destinaton for a family vacation. The chance to visit KAI would be the icing on the cake. You'd be surprised how small a factory can produce so many great knives.

I would LOVE to take that trip...my wife doesnt fly though :(

If there are any LEO trainings around there, maybe I can get there on my Department's dime....

Sorry, but I didn't take any pics inside. Jim was kind enough to take me on a quick tour of the factory and I didn't want to slow him down. I took some pics outside, though.

I go to school in Oregon, not far from Tualatin actually. No car though... and no break from the studying... So close... yet so far...

Sticky and I are planning a trip there for possibly 2014...that would be AMAZING!

Everyone I met there was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy working there. It looks like it'd be a great place to work if you liked knives, machining, design, etc.

Hope you 2 can make the trip.
