I had the great pleasure of visiting the Spyderco factory store in GoldenCO last week. My timing could have been better as the Kumo is about to be released and one of there 2nd sales is comming up but non-the-less it was great fun. Amanda and Cody chatted with me for quite awhile and were gracious enougth to show me a ton of spydies while I made up my mind on what was comming home wiht me. In the end I got a native as a gift for a friend, a plain edge rescue 93, with the old style blade, a yellow atlantic salt with the ti clip and finally one of the last black bladed tmperance fbs. Lots of fun, great to be surounded by so many awesome knives and knife folks. Hope I can get back and maybe see more of the factory and meet some more folks.
