I occassionaly get requests from customers about coming by my shop. I enjoy having company, especially ones with the same interests. So far Stormstaff, BushCraftBrainTrust, and Noshtero have come by to hang out and in Noshtero`s case, learn to make knives. I just got an email from jds1 about coming down. I`m looking forward to his visit, and welcome anyone else who wants to stop by. I know there are quite a few Illinois guys who hang out here, come on by!

Thanks John. I'm looking forward to meeting you as well. I'm also excited to see the "Michigan Trail Knife" come to life. :D

I always wave or blow the horn as I drive by, although I'm 75 miles away on I-39 when I do it. BTW, do you have truck parking? :)

We talking a bed and breakfast type of thing? Is there a hot tub? Mini-bar? What's for breakfast? :)

They do about 3 miles away.

Where? When I hit the scales on eastbound I-80 I always hit the air horn assuming I'm close.
You know I want to stop by and say hello. I'm in CBryant country right now so it may take a while to get there.

I was going to ask you about possibly stopping by in mid august after I drove to Chicago for a concert, but I figured I'd be too hungover in the morning to do much more than manage the drive home. (I was right by the way). Anyway I'd love to drop by sometime.

cool John.. i wish i lived closer, i would love to come and hang out and learn a thing or 2 about knifemaking...:)

Sweet, I'll be in Chicago for the month of November and was thinking about asking if I could stop by.

Rte 45 S. Exit ( La Grange Rd., Manheim Rd.) at the Shell station.

Good stuff buddy! I wish my sister-in-law still lived up that way so I could come out.

I'll probably be flying past tomorrow afternoon on my way to Maine. I'll be stopping for fuel in Minooka and I'll hit the air horn when I drive by.
