Their a few on Oahu, search the Knife makers forum for them.# 6 on the list [Young Guns] might have some of the locale guys wares. You can get a 3 day Bus Pass at the ABC stores {there like a General Store} It’ll save you some money and let you travel around away from the strip. Bus maps you can get at the Library at the end of the Ala Wai Canal [that’s heading towards Diamond Head] Take And use the Sun Block:D Mahalo :)
 
Pick up a Bathy's watch whilst you are there. Although, that is more of a Kuai thing.
 
Thanks for your replies, Akabu I will check out the info you have given me and thanks for the tips regards bus etc and as for the sun block down here we bathe in it. the knifecollector what is a Bathys watch?

I will be visiting Oahu June20-25 and would like to see some hand made blades. Is there a retail outlet or gallery that caters for hand made blades?
I would also like to meet some knifemakers while I am there.

Young Gun's is probably your best bet, short of hunting down the makers in person. You might also try Power Edge, (kind of near the University of Hawaii Manoa campus), though they tend more towards airsoft stuff.
