Hello All,

I'll be in Vancouver, B.C. for the next few days for a conference. Just wondering if there are any makers, shops, tool/hardware stores, etc. worth checking out while I'm there?

Thanks a bunch,

John

Hi John. Sorry I don't really know well enough to give you answers. Try posting the same question in the Canadian Connection and I'm sure you will get several answers. If you've never been to Vancouver before I''m sure you will love the City.

John

I lived for in Vancouver many years ago so I can't recommend any shops to visit. I can recommend the following restaurants from recent visits:

Tojo's - great sushi (possibly the best in Canada) and fantastic views, on the second floor of a Holiday Inn on the north side of West Broadway between Oak and Cambie

Kirin Seafood Restaurant - Chinese, City Square at 12th Ave and Cambie

White Spot - burgers and sandwiches, multiple locations

Only Seafood - really great reputation in a seedy part of town, west of Hastings and Main

5 Sails - Canada Place, just east of Stanley Park

Enjoy!

Phil
