HI official repairman, Art Swyhart and wife Linda, dropped by the Titanic II last evening for a visit. As expected Art and Linda turned out to be just as nice in person as Art is on the forum. Good guy and good gal. I hope they can make it to the convention.

Always interesting to compare the real thing to mental images developed from forum. Art turned out to be bigger and older than the image I'd conjured up.

My wife and I had the privilege of meeting Art and Linda last summer in Missoula. :)

Just got home a couple of hours ago and saw this post as I checked the forum. Fogive me if I sound disjointed; I think my brain is stll 200 miles back down the highway. It's a long drive from WA to Reno.
Our visit to Uncle Bill, Yangdu, and Titanic II was delightful.
Uncle Bill and Yangdu made us feel right at home with their hospitality and generosity. Anything I can say to compliment them would just be repeating what all the Forumites already know.
I will say that Uncle Bill is even more fun in a conversation when he's not slowed down by a keyboard or at the mercy of the phone gremlins. Yangdu is doubtless the best tea brewer in the world -- I don't usually appreciate tea, but drank two cups while visiting and thought it delicious.
Munk and Fed, I'm 72 years old, stand 5'7" tall, weigh 375#. Trust me!

Alright, I confess it; Art is one of those Souls I intuitively look towards. I wanted to know what he looked like. So somebody shoot me for hero worship, already, a protracted unabated childhood!

I just sound like a retarded linebacker who took too many hits.
I'm really 6' tall, weigh 225 (all fat, no muscle) and will be 60 years old the end of this month.
I don't want to embarass Uncle Bill, but he and Yangdu are very generous; Linda and I can't thank them enough. Let's just say we left with more than we had when we arrived.
Slightly off topic, we drove to Reno in beautiful weather Friday. Saturday afternoon and evening it snowed in Reno, and we were faced with the prospect of driving back through the mountains in bad weather. Monday morning we left Reno and drove home in beautiful sunny winter weather with the roads absolutely clear. It helps to be a believer and have an optimistic view.
