Hello People,
What would you recommend for Vista when it comes to Anti-virus and other stuff?
Thanks

it really depends on what you do on the net if you know what i mean :>
nod32 is very low on eating resources, ive been using that one for a few years now, and now im using it for my vista partition to,its kind of gamers antivir.
vista has also something called windows defender that does part of the job, so if you dont go to adult websites, and you dont click on any winner ads, you should be fine even without an antivir
i ve always kept my firewall off, since xp came with one in itself, but that is abother thing that protects you a little
anywy, no antivirus will protect you well enough if you surf the web on naked sites :D
and like ive sid, it all depends on what you need it to protect you from
so again, nod32 would be just fine for normal protection, while keeping your proc load on idle
or you could just use linux, there are plenty of distributions out there, even live ones, ad you should be safer
the basic idea is that only when you are not online you are 100% protected, so just use something that you are comfortable with, and doesnt act like you were playing gothic 3
all the best

I maintain 9 machines; 5 are networked together.

I use Microsoft Live Onecare on all of them, and haven't had a single issue in 3 years.
