i'e been experimenting with new materials and methods on the Gen 1 Mk 3 hawks, internally and externally.

you can see a little bit of the micro texture on the handle - unlike our Cordura skins, this is a high-modulus epoxy saturation on special cloth, which gives a promising grip, and doesn't stain too easily - so far it is a lot like Teflon, but with grippyness, if that is a word... future handles will match the true color more - this handle's underlayment is black, so it toned the VN Tiger Stripe down to Modernized Tiger Stripe (which i love anyway, so i am actually kinda stoked about all the things i learned, and how the hawk is going so far)....

here's a good shot of some new epoxy joints i am working on - which combined with some slight handle mods is going to make future hawks pretty interesting, i reckon.

i think the color matching is going pretty well. - this hawk has an acrylic matte coat on the head which really is working out nicely.

this is the first Hawk Project hawk in VN Tiger Stripe, that we've made so far - i love the camo pattern.

thanks for looking, brethren.
