Will customization (onlay) of a Sebenza by the owner, void the warranty. This is a question for CR Knives or somebody who is truly knowledgeable about the warranty. A deal for a Sebenza is riding on this so no speculation please. The onlay involved drilling into the handle and screwing on the onlay.

One thought, even if it voids the warranty, you can still get your knife serviced from CRK ;)

I have a Sm. Sebenza that was re- bead blasted by Tom Mayo. I asked, months ago... on this forum, if this voided the CRK warranty. I never got a public answer. If you really need to know, take it to private Email.

Probably will, but so what!!?

If you like the onlay and the knife is in good condition I'd buy it.

It can still be serviced, and if the condition is good you won't need it for a very long time. Most likely you'll get your money's worth out of it. :D
