voiding warranty?

Define "refinishing". If you mean polishing or stripping off black coating, then no. But be advised that the warranty will not cover any damage you do in the process. If you overheat the blade on a buffing wheel and ruin the heat treatment, don't expect a free replacement.

I had a Spydie knife reground, and knew that was the end of the warranty. But, I trust that nothing will go wrong with my Endura that isn't operator error.

That should not void the warranty, as long as it isn't baked on at 400 degrees. ;)
