Volli on the way

I have two, so I must like 'em. On the very rare occasions that I don't carry an Emerson, I'll most likely have my Volli with me. I like the blade shape, sorta reminds me of the Ritter Grip, and S30V is a good blade steel. I like the G10 texturing, too. The A/O is reasonably fast and always locks the blade open.

Nothing that I don't like, really. It's a nice carry if I want something nearly the size of my Emersons, but lighter and a bit thinner. Mine both came very sharp, centered, and ready to go.

Had one that was de-assisted and the g10 was sanded down. Did like it but not as much as my other BM's. Got traded. Good knife though. A nice slicer but the lack of jimping and just pure clunky plasticy feel to the grip made me perfer my other Benchmades more. Would rather have a 943 or 555 or something. Probably won't get another assisted opening knife for the most part.

what I like about mine the most is its slimness, got it at the "old" price when it first came out, thought about buying the 2nd one but "new" pricing kicked in... oh well... still will get a second one when I come across a deal.

The Volli is a great knife. Nested liners and that great Ritter-like (agreed on this...) S30V blade. Used it to open 60+ packing boxes and with stropping only is still glittery sharp. It's got a good balance and appreciate the slimness and ease of carry as a result.

How funny, i just picked one up today at my local outdoor store. Great knife, i just pulled it apart cleaned it up and lubed the lock with Tetra Glide. Its a keeper!

One of the first things I did was de assist mine. I like it much better that way due mostly to ease of closing. It's a great knife. Definitely not suited for "hard use" but serves well for EDC tasks.

Thanks guys! I didn't realize it was so slim. Now I am excited to try it out.

The problem in buying the Volli is I don't carry my 580 Barrage nearly as much, due to the difference in thickness. Here in Virginia it's shorts weather a lot of the time and the Volli's no problem at all.
