volpe blade play

there is slight vertical blade play..when the lock engages it is about half way across..the blade play moves the lock to about a quarter of the way back ..what should i do ?? it is minimal but it does bother me..

I would say play a bit with it. If it does not improved by wear, call Spyderco (number on website) their W/R is the best in the world...

Open it HARD a couple of times, maybe even (gasp) flick it open. Then, see if it works it way to an acceptable resting place. I've found that worked for me before. I hope that helps.
