I'm hoping to head over to Nepal around March for about six months, the majority of that time i'm hoping to spend volunteering. I was originally hoping to go over doing some research-volunteer work with a professor through my department at the University, unfortunately it's been a month or so now and we still haven't heard back from our Nepal-side professor.

As a result, I'm now exploring other avenues for volunteer work and/or research in Nepal. Given that many of the forumited here have been to Nepal, and many are well informed about the country, I was hoping someone might be able to give me some information about some good, grass-roots style volunteer work available in the country.

Much Thanks!

Good luck! :) Hope you are able to acomplish what you set out to do.

Thank you for your help

Hi Radrunner, of your skills, what do you think you could use to help the people?? Do what you are best at and enjoy doing and the way to help will be shown to you. This I know.
