CPM 3V Bar Stock?
Heat Treat # NP (new protocol) 70463.... uh that's seriously impressive if you guys have run 70k+ different protocols in experimenting.
188" (3/16") stock thickness, after being surface ground will be around .172" thickness.
The VVV paper has been burned around the edges, suggesting someone has been playing with fire (or perhaps heat treat protocols)..... :) :)
The shape of the handwritten 'V's are that of a hollow grind looking at it as a cross section overall.... OR perhaps it almost looks like it's the Hybrid Compound geometry from the Mega Ratmandu & Warden. Looks convex near the top and flat towards the middle.

That's some great looking heat treat scale you got there Boss! I'd say it's a mighty fine specimen!

Not a fatty for sure. Interested in 3V and the Buuse heat treat and how it compares to other well liked 3V heat treats.

Seems like the swamp is getting quite interesting :)
 
Did you guys figure out your own "delta" (obviously a different name.. or maybe they hooked up with nathan.. or maybe voodoo is nathan 🤷) 3v or somethin? If anyone could experiment with stuff enough to figure out something crazy it'd be these guys.

I’m REALLY looking forward to what Jerry could do with CPM-3V at .188” or thinner… with his magical touch with heat treat… plus some VooDoo magic. Be nice to kick Delta heat treat’s butt… (friendly competition is always good for technological advancement)

A throwing knife either with bone handles and/or called BONE, so we can ‘throw the bones’. Very voodoo.
