anybody used/heard anything about vortex strikefire optics?

got a chance to get one and was wondering if they were good/bad/ugly.

i dont think i have ever heard of them, midwest industries is offering a deal on them if ya get them and a 4 rail HG for an AK, thinking about the 4 rail and wondering if i should go ahead and get the vortex or skip it and go with something like a tasco propoint?

and yes, i know its no aimpoint lol.

I can't say much about the Vortex from personal experience, but judging from the quality of the MI quadrail on my Romy GP75, I'd say it wouldn't hurt to take their offer and try it out.
It's been rock solid from the day I mounted it!

I have a Vortex Crossfire 6-24x50 on my Savage .22. Seems to be a nice optic, and pretty well built. 70% off on SWFA, so I couldn't pass it up. No experience with the Red dots.

i have one of the strikefires on my ruger 10-22 squirrel gun. it's very decent for the price. mine has held up well and as far as vortex goes they have awesome warranty and great customer service. i hang out on a very big long range shooting forum and 2 of their higher end employee's frequent the site and are awesome.

and they are much better than the tasco's

cool, still trying to decide, the 4 rail and vortex or a larue iron dot, decisions decisions lol.
