I gladly voted for Buck, but doesn't it seem odd that Case isn't even a choice?

It does indeed seem odd, but I'm not one of the people missing it. :)

I notice Queen isn't there either. Kind of strange since both are two older companies.

It's listed as "Ontario or Queen." I know they share the same owners, but it seems silly to group Queen-branded slipjoints and hunters, etc, with Ontario-branded military combat-like knives.

I don't read Blade, but aren't they more into the "tactical" thing? Maybe they are leaving off the slipjoint brands, and Queen only got mentioned because of Ontario.

I bought an issue a couple months back; what turned me off Blade was it was a "closed" society. It's all Blade approved writers; Blade approved knifesmiths; Blade approved manufacturers...I didn't see a single name I recognized, no mfgs that I would buy from, and no knives I was interested in. The reports on shows were ones I had never heard of, with custom knifemakers [all Blade approved] that were strangers to me...

Knife magazine is a bit better, but still not attuned to my wavelength. I'm more in sync with the Jantz or Texas Knife *catalogs* than I am with these two magazines.

Quite a bit. I guess you're "Blade Approved", eh??? :D

I found the issue I bought to be narrow-minded; elitist; bigoted; self-serving; and arrogant to the point of insulting. And those were its good points... ;)

I voted for Randall :)

Edit: Duh! to me...I didn't realize you were a troll...

like "ALL" survey's of this type totally false....each time you open the page you can vote...totally unscientific totally false.

Actually, I thought you were going to ask about our favorite *Buck* knife...

And my answer was: The 2005 BCCI Fund-Raiser 110 *prototype*...well, that's probably no surprise...my second choice (had this been an actual poll) would be the 120 General (even though I don't own one)... ;)

Strange,,,when I open it again, all I see is the mfg's number of votes and percentages. Interesting to look at, I guess. Mostly says which forums are hyping it and getting their guys to vote.

yeah...not scientific... but entertained me for a few minutes...

:D dump the cookies for it and vote all you want. we can make Buck the leader if we want

Hi Jim,

119? My favorite are the ones with BUCK stamped on the tang:D

Well I love my Tempest ATS34

Which until the goofy laws go away in the UK will remain in its protective wrapper. Currently I am EDCing a Benchmade Pika. My Bucks are too nice to be confiscated....

I have emailed Cabelas to get one of the S30V 110s. But current knives are..

SOG S1 x 2 off SK5 Steel
SOG S1T - AUS8
SOG Tech Bowie Aus 6
SOG Daggert 1 & 2
SOG Trident
Buck Tempest
Buck 110
Buck 112
Benchmade Pika 440c
Benchmade Mini Pika N960
SOG Seal Pup (Seki Japan)
SOG Seal 2000
1960 Switchblade (genuine and still is like NEW)
HRT Bootknife
Puma D1 Steel
Others which I forget...

So I am not a total Buck nut...I like my SOGs too. I would carry the Tempest every day of my life... but simply cant. Ho hum.... f****** government :(
