Hey guys.

I'm not going to lecture on Bush vs. Kerry vs. Nader or try to inject my own political ideas, but if you are an American citizen, then I emplore you: Vote tomorrow!

I've heard the argument that your vote doesn't matter. When about 50% of the country won't vote, think of how powerful that number would be if they all voted. Also, I've heard that people just don't care about the political situation and think that they won't be affected one way or the other. This is utterly false. The President of the United States wields incredible power. Please, support the person you think most capable of leading the most powerful, fiercely-armed, and influential nation the world has ever known.

In today's global world, people should care. The right to have a voice in government is a cause that has claimed more than a few lives. Please, no matter whom you support, vote.

Honor the cause for which your founding fathers died.

Right wrongs or avert new ones.

Whatever the motive, VOTE!

Now, now. I never said that... If you want me to bust out my own political rhetoric, I'd be more than happy!!!

Ok, that's it. Just to clarify, I did NOT mean to support Bush. If that can be derived from my post, then let this clarify: I have 3 big Kerry/Edwards signs in the windows of my car. I've researched it a lot and considered my political priorities. For me, Bush is not a viable option.

Please read the initial post, however, in a nonpartisan light. I just want people to vote. If the majority decides that Bush wins, then so be it. I believe in our semi-democratic federal republic thing that we have in America. If the people want him, then he will be President. I may not like it, but it could happen.

Now that both sides have had their say, let's not go further into partisan issues here, guys. I like all of you and respect you all very much. I don't want to associate you with a party. I'm not a Democrat. I just like Kerry. I don't sign off on all of his policies. I just like more of his than Bush's.

'Nuff said. Just vote. Such differences make America great. I respect Bush supporters as much a Kerry supporters. The point is that they support somebody! That's how we can have a say in government.

Whoever you like VOTE!!!

If you're not informed, go to the darn websites. They're full of propaganda, but the "issues" sections are distinctly different.

Or vote on whoever's prettiest! Whatever.

(I like that one, because I feel that the crypt keeper could beat Cheney :D)

(for Bush)
We could get away with NOT Voting since Oklahoma is something like 67% for Bush and besides Oklahoma has voted for a Republican President for more years than I can count.

HOWEVER!!!! There are several people we know voting for the man we don't like or want for Pres so Barb and I absolutely MUST make our way to the Firehall a block down the street to cancel out at least two of those votes.
And as important as the Presidential Election is tomor, er today there is a vote for the US Senate here in Oklahoma that's very important as well!!!!
That race is between Brad Carson D and Tom Coburn R and in this particular race the Republican Must be stopped!!!!
Tom Coburn is a doctor, MD that ran for congress twice and won and then quit because he said he would honor the term limits and besides he wasn't a career politician but here he is running again, absolute Proof he is a Liar!!!!:grumpy: Coburn has voted contrary to Oklahoma's well being and wishes before while Brad Carson on the other hand has listened to his constituents.
And if it wasn't for that Brad Carson is a Good enrolled Cherokee and so would get my vote just for that anyway.:D

And by all means and No Matter which way you lean,
Go Vote!!!
You have no right to gripe if you don't!!!! :p ;) :D

That's Right!!

Vote!!!

If you don't, you have no room to complain for four years!

I voted at 7:05 this morning... proudly wearing "I Voted" sticker on shirt. :D

However, my wife also voted, 5 minutes later... neatly cancelling out my vote completely.

But arriving in my office all my co-workers voted for my choice, collectively putting us up 3.

Crazy, but how it works. They're risking mines and AK's in Afghanistan to vote for the first time... it's the least we can do for America.

Each vote does matter.

The best thing we could do for America would be to elect Bush and Kerry as President and Vice President -- of Afghanistan.

I tried to vote for the "Mandatory Khukuri Carry" amendment, but I couldn't find it... someone lied to me. :p
