Recommendation? Vouch for Crotts Knives

Anyone have a knife from Dan Crotts? Curious how guys like him vs Dozier. Assuming solid just like Bob but just curious for those with experience with both!

I think Dan Crotts is the foreman of Bob Dozier shop and married to Bobs daughter.

The ones I've had were like a Dozier just more refined, meticulously made and a pleasure to hold + use.

It's a case of the student at least equalling the master if not surpassing him..
A knife by either is great piece to own.

Bob has always made “working” knives. Good fit and finish, but not to be collector pieces. From what I’ve seen and understand, Dan’s knives have a little bit more polish. Personally I think he is striving to work his way out from under Bob’s shadow.
