Hey all. I just ordered another Boker Titan defender, per my "quandary" post, and I added in one of these Vox titanium tools. I haven't seen much about these and wondered if anyone had one, has it been useful, and what have you used it on?

I was debating getting one to stick in my EDC, let me know what ya think most the revies I've seen on youtube don't tell much....

I have one on my keychain, it quickly develops a smooth patina and has a nice feel to it. Its very light and feel strong, though I have yet to pry anything with it. Its bigger than it seems in pics, but not crazy big. Im glad I got it. I also have a micro widgy bar on the same keychain, and I think Id be more apt to use that in lieu of this tool, only because I have a few of those and it seems less likely to scuff up. But I think it can handle a fair amount of torking. Plus, it could also be used a weapon haha.

I still haven't used this tool for anything, but I do carry it on my keychain as it is no problem to do so. I did decide to "dress" it up a bit. Tok by handtorch to it and anodized the entire thing, after removing the O-rings first. Came out with a lot of blue showing along with some cooper looking area's. Turned out well for as little time as it took to do.

You can still see the swirly marks on the surface. It is had taken more time and polished this tool, and then anodized it, I guess the colors would be brighter. The good thing is that I could still do that and may when I have some extra time.

Your torch didn't anodize the tool, it only burned the surface. Anodizing is an electrochemical process.

I have one on my keyring, use it every other day or so. Have used the bottle opener, as a screwdriver and to pry, light-duty. On the ring it's shorter than my longest key (car key) and lightweight. For the price, it's a keeper.

I too have the Vox tool on my keychain, handy little tool. I also torch colored the end of mine.
